Early this past spring we got a sneak peek at the new CNC-machined PNW Loam Stem when they were teasing us with a lot of purple and some shiny silver dropper posts. Well, now those Loam stems are finally here, and you can pick several color options, bar clamp diameters, and lengths to trick out your trail bike.
Sure, it’s just an MTB stem. But PNW set out to make your mountain bike a bit flashier, with nice dramatic CNC-machined shaping, just a bit of shiny ano color to make the accents on your bike pop, and all the options you need to fit your favorite all-mountain bike.
“Stems are meant to do two things, hold your handlebars on and look hot. These tidy little CNC’d stem gems are faceted functional bike jewelry.”
PNW teased us at Sea Otter, but now you can get that gem of a stem to match your rare shiny silver Loam dropper, and one of our favorite MTB upgrades, the carbon Loam bar.
The new PNW Loam stems sell for $99 / 112€, no matter what size or color you need. And all are available and in-stock now. The stems come in Blackout black, Lightning silver, Blood orange, or Fruit Snacks purple.
The stems don’t come with top caps, but if you want to get all matchy-matchy or even get a bit of contrast, you can add a $12 / 14€ PNW x Ground Keeper Custom Top Cap when you order for a perfect anodized color combo.
